Are you beautiful? Who decides?
If someone believes that you are beautiful
but
you do not believe that you are beautiful,
who's right? What is the truth?
The truth is, while many people do not believe themselves to be beautiful, many people around them believe that they are beautiful. So what the heck does this have to do with photos?
A photo allows an individual to step outside of themselves, to see themselves captured from another perspective. In order for an individual to change their perception of themselves, they must see themselves from a different perspective. A photograph offers a powerful opportunity for an individual to see themselves from another perspective. This experience creates an opportunity for the individual to accept a new truth about themselves: that they are indeed beautiful.
But what purpose does this serve? Why is it necessary for individuals to accept their own beauty?
The realization and acceptance of one's own beauty puts the individual in a positive, empowered state of mind. A positive, empowered state of mind is necessary for individuals to reach their full potential.
As a community we should have a vested interest in helping each other reach our full potential. When we're all in a positive, empowered state of mind then our entire community works as a single organism towards its full potential.
